Our Founder and Director, Jamie Gibbs, and our Operations Manager, James Styles, recently attended a Building Heroes graduation ceremony at their Sherford Skills Onsite Training Centre in Plymouth.
Building Heroes, established in 2014, provides invaluable support to service leavers, veterans, reservists, and military families. It aids their transition to civilian life through training and employment opportunities within the construction sector.
The military charity widely recognises the wealth of transferable skills that military personnel possess, such as reliability, organisation, problem-solving, leadership, and teamwork.
By offering comprehensive training programs, Building Heroes equips these individuals with the trade skills necessary to excel in construction careers, bridging the gap between their military experience and the civilian workforce.
We are also thrilled to share that Jamie has recently been appointed as a trustee to Building Heroes, a role that further solidifies our commitment to supporting this remarkable organisation and its mission.
